Reports out finally and time to relax.

After days of working from home, there were still pile of backlog that i got to clear. The nice thing was that the COMET report was finally out! A load off my mind. Later, got an sms for a KTV gathering in the evening. This sms came at the right time, I need to go out to take a break from all these work stuffs!

Went for KTV session with Ben, LF and Kelly at Suntec. There is Dano Sales at Suntec, which caught my eye! I was so hesitated to shop for clothes, but the KTV session was starting soon, @8.30pm and the others are there waiting for me outside. Haha... Thus, gave the sales a missed.

The KTV session was quite interesting, where there is a game at 11.30pm. Everybody from the room gathered outside at the main reception area if they were playing. Initially, we still don noe what game was that. I saw the mini basketball basket there and told it would be a throwing ball game.

Later to noe that is was a Chinese word game that we need to match the last word to create another new word. eg. 日月--> 月亮 --> 亮燈. Haha... had a great laugh throughout as some of their reaction was quite funny. Finally to the last 2 person, the game got more difficult where it become a memory game as well. Now, they got to start saying from the first word, to the last word to link to another word. It was quite a fun game that added laughters to the KTV night.

After that, we went a cafe at Mount Faber for a drink. As usual, I choose a chocolate drink. The place there was quite nice, and if not for them, I would not noe of existence of such a place. We can see the sentosa view and it was very cooling up there, with wind breeze. Romantic place ya, but for a nice place for friend gathering for a chat also.

A night out with friends, nice relax gathering. These days, I stayed out late more often, which add on to my nice memories of life... When I grew older and I could put my parents' mind at ease, I felt at ease hanging out late. No matter how old we are now, parents would tend to worry, though sometime, we felt that these are very unnecessary, they just could not help it...

Christmas Eve @ Orchard

Some Malaysian friends came to Singapore, and we decided to bring them to Orchard for some night seening and photo session. Feelin so excited about it when I am asked if I am free to go? All my energy cells become energetic. These days when I hear the word "shopping", I will get excited about it, eventhough I nv buy anything.

Upon reaching Orchard, I realized that it was Christmas Eve! We planned to walk along the pathway from Orchard to Somerset, after that to take a MRT back. In total, 13 adults and 4 children we proceed ahead. There were too many people that we were scattered out.

DL who is tall enough was holding a red umbrella high up in the air, thus what we did was to lookout for that umbrella and follow after it. There were some moment that the jam is so serious that we were not able to move for a while. It was hot and stuffy.

All that we could do now is to contact my Singaporean friends and asked them where are they? Lucky that there was still network avaliable. Looking at the crowd, I am holding tight to my HP, thinkin, if I drop my stuffs here on the ground, no way that I can find it back. If I squat down in the crowd to get it, I doubt that I will managed to stand up... Maybe after a few kicks here n there, but my things would still be lost.

Finally, we came to Taska. We garthered the grp there, but we are not able to contact one father and his son. SMS my other friend to ask for his number, as I don have it and it was a Malaysia number. Later XJ called him, he say that he detour back le, as he was not able to move on.

Thus, everybody managed to squee thr the crowd and we went back. A first time experience during Christmas eve to squee with ppl at Orchard. A different experience during Christmas Eve. @ 12 midnight, I was on the bus going home. Reached home at around 12 plus. Home sweet home.

Christmas Fun!

Christmas is my favourite festival! Had been busy during this period trying to shop for some Christmas gifts. Now then I realized that gift that is suitable for both gender is sOOOOoooo difficult to buy! There are 2 Christmas garthering that I bought the same gift, a mini radio for both session, which I quite like!

18th December, Monday - Poly Friends garthering

Met out with poly friends for a garther. There are Ben, Ted, LF, JY, HT, Kel, Fan n me, in total 8 of us. Had a great laugh during dinner, as these guys are getting more humorous. Brought a gift for exchange, where each of us took turn to draw name from the lot to decide which gift we would take. It such a coincidence, 1st round, all 5 of them draw their own name!!! For me, I got a 2007 calendar, which can act as a stress bag reliever as well.

After the dinner, it was raining cats and dogs outside. We were deciding how to travel back home, with 2 cars, one parked here, the other one at Raffles City. In the end LF drove us: HT, Kel n me to Raffles City n I got a lift back from HT and LF drove back to drive the other back home. Thanks to all!


21st December, Thursday - Potluck Christmas Lunch

It was the largest group of Christmas Party that I attended, 20++ of us in office! We booked a meeting room, and have our causal Christmas Fun. It was a potluck theme and everybody brought a gift for exchange.

I made sushi, the onli food that I noe how to make. haha...Ta brought her laptop in the meeting room to play some Christmas music, which really added on to this season festival. We were there eating,chatting, taking photos. A nice break from the busy work schedule.

It get excited when it's time for Christmas gift exchange! Haha... Aftering drawing a number, we crowd around the gift corner to get out gift. This time round, I got a cute Santa Claus Cup. This is my first and last Christmas Lunch with them. Enjoyed it.

DHL Balloon

On this Saturday, planned to first ride on the DHL Balloon first, next to have our dinner and later to shop in Bugis. Reached Bugis at about 1645. Happily and excitedly, the four of us walked to the the booth of the DHL Balloon.

Upon reaching, I took out my wallet wanted to buy the ticket, but the gal said that today it rained in many places and it was very windy, currently the balloon is not flying. Thus, a changed of plan, we will have our dinner first before this ride. We went shaw to the cafe that I quite like for our dinner. I like their yummy soup!

After dinner, we went back to the booth again. The temporary no flying sign was still displayed on the booth's glass. Kind of disappointed. Store the booth number in my HP and off we went to Bugis for shopping. After a while, I called to check if the balloon is in operation? It was still not in operation.

Continued on with our shopping. At about 7.45 we tried calling the booth again. This time round it was a long ring tone and nobody pick up the phone. Yap, disappointed. Later to walk to Seiyu to shop for some Christmas gifts. Looking out from the shopping centre glass, I saw the DHL Balloon flying!!! Haha... where they thought that I am joking.

We hurried down to the booth once again. Stepping out from the shopping centre, it was a little disappointed again, as we felt some droplet of rain... Trying our luck, we went ahead to the booth. Thinking, are we able to have a ride on it in this condition? We went ahead to purchase the tickets.

Yeah!!! Finally, we are on the balloon! The night view up there was beautiful! I like the curve road of the expressway. It was quite a fast ride where the next moment, we were on ground le. Nice experience! When we were up on the balloon, we were all busy taking photos and I don felt that I am on a balloon up in the sky.

Department Lunch

Went for department lunch at a bar in Orchard Hotel.

After the lunch, they have a boat race of beer. Each division had to send 5 people out to complete for this race. The rules are: 1. Thumbs on the table 2. Chin on the table 3. After drinking, pour the cup over your head 4. The next person continued. These rules created a lot of jokes...

Looking at how they drank, to complete in term of speed... I see alr, felt like vomiting for them. So fast and rushing. Some of them b4 they finished, pour the cup on their head and all the remaining beer was on them.

My division, go thr 2 round to be in the final. 2 glass le. The final team will get a trophy and a hamper! That was interesting, to get a trophy. haha... Looking at my team members, felt worried for them, don noe they would get drank or not. Lucky that ET requested for a 5 min break.

The final round began. Both team drank very fast wor. My team got in second and got a box of champagne. The story does not end here. There is another final one on one. Pat drank very fast and he will have a speed round with Sum. Looking at how they drank, super fast! Pat emerge as the winner.

In total 4 glasses for beer for Pat. Like high alr for him le ah. Later there is still a KTV session for us, wonder how is he going to sing? After that, a few of us set off to the KTV first. Later Pat n Law joined in. From 4.00, I sang till 8.30 to set off to the airport. The rest of them sang till about 9.30pm.

In total, there were 11 of us to this KTV session. That was my session of KTV with the most ppl wor. The songs that I sang, I felt that my tune was different at certain part. Really need to learn and practice more, thus I can catch the tune.

Busy Busy Busy

I think I need a change of place, maybe will have different encounters. The moment I sit down at my seat in office, I would be racing with time all the way... Things will come in all at the same time... and that's BUSY, super busy.

Dreaming to rest a while... a while b4 I start the reporting period. Actually, I hope to clear most of the things before this year and maybe to make them simpler, thus all things would be more in place and it would make work easier.

I think that is one of the goal that I currently have in mind. To do that, I must make sure that I can manage my time well. If can remain cool throughout all situation, I guess, I can save time and work on the necessary.

I will clear my leave during the end of this month! Thus, to take a break from these busy busy feeling.

This week seems fast!

In a blink of eye, today is a Saturday! In the day, went shopping with Emi and Fan. We are meeting for lunch. I still thought that we are meeting for dinner. Ate my lunch at home and to realized that I got it wrong le. haha...

Don noe why, since I am back from KL, I am feeling hungry very easily. Last Sunday that I set off for the KL trip and came back in the evening on Wednesday. While in KL, most tv shows are in Cantonese, Malay and English.

When I am in the taxi, the taxi driver switch on to a chinese radio station, I felt so glad and familiar listening to the chinese songs. For this trip, I lost 1 kg. haha... I like the morning breaksfast with corn flakes and soya milk!

This trip was quite an experience for me. 3 days without Messenger, internet surfing, blogging and less SMS. It was not too bad. The onli thing is that I don noe how to call out using my "pay as you roam". Thus, most of the time, I will onli send out sms.

In the morning, wake up early to prepare for breaksfast and work. The alarm rang once at 6.30 every morning n I woke up which seldom happens here back home. After a day of work, we came back to the hotel to put our things and off we went to the shopping centre nearby for dinner and shopping.

The best thing of this trip is that I can relax at my own time in the evening! After writing my dairy, when I felt tired, I would just dozed off to bed. Back home here, is hard for me to be so systematic. Here, I will overload my time with TV, computer, internet... etc. Like now, I am still online, surfing net...

On Thursday when I am back in the office, I felt super hungry in the office. Ate my cereals n biscuits. Getting to 11am, I felt hungry again. Had a heavy lunch, feeling full... but, after a few hrs, I felt hungry again!

Intially, I thought is just for one day. On Friday, history repeat itself. That goes for today as well. In the end, I went to buy some chocolate to eat. After a while, I felt the crave for food again. Oh no... I must take note le.
