Downtown East Chalet

The journey to Pasir Ris seems shorter with a company together. Passed bt one of the country club chalet, which is the one that we stayed during my poly chalet. abt 6 yrs back. That was a nice chalet gathering! The moment I reached DTE and saw the MR Bean shop, I took out my wallet to buy the ice cream. Yummy.

We passed by Wild Wild Wet and I am getting so excited abt it! Seening the float sliding sown the big slide and hearing ppl screaming. Next time if free, must find a day to go WWW. We went for cycling. Felt some droplet of rain while we are cycling. Thanks that the droplet of rain went after shortly. After the ride, we are feeling super hungry ah. Went to catch a bite.

Saw the doll catching machine. The Pooh Bear and Mickey Mouse one is cute! Me try to catch it and caught hold of the pooh bear's head! I was so excited abt it, jus within a distance of 8cm to the hole, it dropped... Ohh.... Tried again the 2nd time and I nv catch it. Still, nice experience of once catching hold of the doll. haha.

After that, hc and me went Escape Theme Park. The sequence that we playes the rides was in sequence. 1st Biking, 2nd Family coaster, 3rd Superman ride, later to biking and family coaster again. The other more exciting rides was closed for repair. There r some family who played the fub dair game n won a lot of doll! Saw a lady holding a super big bear. wow!

Back to the chalet. Feeling bored, as the other ppl I don noe de. Went walking around the chalet with HC. Was telling her, this place is so big and so many ppl, we might bump into somebody thatwe noe. After walking for a distance, I heard somebody calling my name. It is Clem. Haha... So qiao! Chat for a while, then hc and me went back to the chalet.

We left the chalet at 11plus. Thanks to Ju's friend for driving us home. Reached home at 1plus. Though late, but enjoyable day.

Work n 葛根湯

This mornin, when I reached the office, I was having running nose. Once in a while, I would be sneezing non stop for 3-4 times! Wonder who is thinking of me, or is scolding me! If it is bcos of thinking of me, I wish that that person would not think of me! That's so torturing.

Went lunch with my department ppl. A farewell lunch for my manager. Next Monday would be her last day working here. Kept thinking that 2day marked the 3rd month of my probation period. Nope, after next Monday then it is. Yesterday, set my KPI, thus I have this wrong conception. 3 months is short, but it seems so long le.

2day jus felt like wearin simple to work, plain n light colour. I admire ppl who are simple at work, without make up, but could still present themselves so well, not giving others the snobbish feeling. My manager portray this image. B4 I can learn more from her, she is moving on. Still, I am thankful to her for giving me this position.

Actually, after work, alr planned 1 wk ago to go Ju's chalet, but I cant make it. need to come home rest. Faster went buy 葛根湯, hope to get well soon, thus tom can do sport. The first thing that I got hm, I drank the medicine and I find that 葛根湯佷好喝! Hope to regain my physical energy and health soon.

Monday

@ Work, I encountered problem. Seems like there is some communication breakdown between the customer and me. Ever since I sent emails everyday to chase them for something, the communication from emails that I read seems harsh. There are some stuffs pending from me. Sent an email to let them that i would be giving them at a later date. Wonder what sort of email I would receive tom... But still, with a reply from them is better than none.

Jus nice for a hair trim @ this time when I felt myself stuck in problem. The hair stylist who do my hair would be leavin the salon. The timing is still just nice that I went 2day and came to know abt it, else, next week, the hairstylist will not be working there le. 2day, I quite like my hair curl, thought jus temporary, felt that it was quite nice. My hair felt lighter after the trim.

Had not exercise last week! Must plan one day for run this week after work! Sportin together with friends, make me happy. =] Planning to buy a pair roller blade shoes. Must start saving up money now. Everyday, to drop some coins in my piggy bank, see when it is full, how much is short for a pair of roller blade shoes. I missed roller blade!

Big Gathering

我們都不約而同的去了阿媽家. 好像有節日的感覺. 哈哈. 我們大家還真有默契.

所有的阿姨和大所數的表姊妹哥弟都到了. 這次多了一些新面孔, 就是表姊的丈夫和幾個可愛的寶寶. Cutie Babies! They brighten up the day. 抱了抱他們, 但很怕他們在我抱時哭. 哈哈. 我會不知所措的!

表姊在那兒幫小孩子們沖涼, 一個接著一輪流. 我們每次都有 lesson to learn, "Diploma in Babies" , 學怎樣帶babies. 哈哈

Wish for a simple life

Guess what, I went to the library to borrow a book on Travel and I am traveling to Spain. Not physically traveling to Spain, but mentally traveling to Spain. Haha... Urge to learn Spanish, thus wanted to understand more abt Spain.

Had this urge to learn Spanish since poly years. That time was learning Japanese. Now, to ask me abt Jap, I don rem le. haha... Was thinking of polishing up my Japanese language, but I always jus have the thought and no action being done. Will take a outlook for Spanish Courses.

Initially, planned to go running after work, but when I reached the stadium, saw that it would onli be open at 7.30. Decide not to wait for that and proceed on the the library instead. The library is a good place for knowledge, there are so many books that we can read on. I like non fiction books that I can learn some facts.

On the way home, have this thought in my mind, wishing for a simple life. A simple life bring happiness, as it is one that is simple and is not complicated. Simple life to learn abt a lot of things in this world. Simple life to learn another language, simple life to learn another interest, simple life to learn another sport and a lot of other things. Simple life to be happy!

Fredom Writers

I was delighted when we finally confirmed on this day to watch the movie. Initially waned to catch this movie last Wednesday, but most of them rushing work and cant make it, thus changed to Monday. Most movie theater only have e afternoon timing, glad that we still managed to catch the movie after work @ shaw.

Happens to saw the review of this movie in 8days and find it quite nice. Truly, the movie is nice. Is a movie abt how the teacher give her utmost effort to teach their students, to make a different in the students' life. The total duration is 23min.

The students in this movie r all from different background. When the teacher in this movie read abt their life from their journal, she got a shock. As, she is jus a teacher not a psychologist. Thanks to the support from her husband and later her dad that give her all the strength needed to make a different.

The touching part is when I saw each of the students changing for the better and the care that the teacher gave her students. It take great courage to walk out of the "comfortable" character and to change for the better, which most of the student in the show did it.

The most impressive thing is that this movie is based on a real life story. The teacher asked the students to write a journal abt their life encounters and publish them into a book, that how this movie came abt. The book is known as Freedom Writers.

A good movie worth the time to watch and it teaches us that life is full of hope. Everybody encounters is different, but it is we, ourselves who create how we want our life to be. Despite the sad encounters that we once encountered. We can make a different and live a worthwhile life.

New things learnt

Went to the warehouse for a half day Induction of the things that I am consolidating. I like it when I am learning something new. Morn time, took MRT to Enous, since I am still early, thus went to have breakfast at the coffee shop. The feeling was quite nice.

Now, I have slightly more knowledge of the warehousing operation. All these involve quite a lot of planning and manpower. From the physical goods, to the administration work that is needed. The warehouse looked like in a factory and I recalled my holiday job last time in factory.

After lunch, took a cab back to work. It was raining cats and dogs! Actually I am quite lazy to go back to office. Still thinking of meeting my pv friends to walk around first before going back to the office. In the end, nv, thus guai1 guai1 buck up and went back str to office.

2 Months plus, I am still acquiring on my work. Different things learnt and I develop my consolidating and communication skills. Had to manage work from all different sources and set them right on track. There are more liaising needed through emails and phone.

While communicating with the other party on the phone, I try to communicate slowly to let them noe what is needed. Had to sort out what I want to express across to them in my mind first. I am happy when they get my message. Now, when I had more understanding of my work, communication get smoother. =]

KTV

Wed, went KTV after work with HC and JU. The sound system was quite good. In the morn, still felt so lazy to go! As I got muscle ache after my run from Monday. In the office, when I laugh a bit, can felt the stretch at my waist. It was so funny... a small laugh will ache.

@ the KTV, sang till the last songs, but addicted, still wish for more time to sing. My last bus will leave the interchange @ 11pm, lucky that I saw the bus coming and was in time to catch the bus back home. Not too sure if that is the last bus, but felt thankful for it.

Was tired, but I could not get to sleep! In my mind, the songs that we sand is still humming. Managed to have a light sleep form 1 someth to 1.40am, later I woke up and the song was sill humming. Jus cant get to sleep! Was thinking, perhaps is the green tea that I drank jus now! 2 big glasses...

The next day when I woke up, there is still a song humming in my mind. huh... Still singing ah?! Becos of a lack of sleep, I felt so slack @ wk!

Running @ e stadium

In the noon, while going off for lunch, the sky looked quite dark, that it would be raining anytime. I kept turning around to look at the window in big boss room, behind my seat. The onli window that allow me to see a small part of a trees n it's leaves. Looking outside to if it was raining.

Regarding work, a pat on my shoulder first, that I was hardworking in working. Less chatting and more serious in working. I managed to create the program list with the necessary details and ppl to contact. My file was quite colourful!

Was worried abt my leave, as my manager is leaving n I don noe when my new manager would be coming in. Asked my manager abt it jus now, I was delighted and touched when she say that I can jus go ahead with it, as I had alr told her much earlier and to apply for it, thus she could approve it.

After that, went off for my run. So nice that it is a sunny day. I had slack for abt 2 months for jogging. There were quite a lot of ppl there jogging. It was nice to be back to the stadium for run after the stressful, busy days...

@ the stadium, don noe y my secondary school images flashes in my mind. The scene of my secondary school friends at the stadium during sport day and the guy whom I once had a crush on. Haha... They are jus the memories. Nv to ponder abt it and continue with my run.

Wednesday - Mid week

Wore new shoes to work today. =] Is the white pair of cover shoe which I bought last week. I really like this pair of shoes! Nowadays, I like white. White shoes, white jacket, white skirt, white bag, white wallet. For my shoes, there are 2 colours. When the white pair is spoil, i would buy white shoes, next time when U go shopping with me, I would source for a pair of black shoe, as my black shoe is spoil. lol.

Morning Time, was involved in a concall... Many times, I don understand what they were talking about, as I don really catch their essence. Was a bit panic. Later when my manager joined in, I felt more at ease. Now, there somebody who can guide me along.

Later when for a System Tool Training. That tool is cool! They had a lot of add in features, for data analyzing. There implemented traffic light function, top or bottom grouping, graphs, printing to pfd function n a lot of other functions. The system was impressive! We could even change our own colour format!

When my phone in office rang, I am fearful. I would look at the number to see when it is from. Best is that the phone call is from oversea, thus I can be safe. When the phone rang, I am really 心驚膽跳, wishing that it is not from the IT department. As I chat too much, I will try to cut down from chatting. I will, I will work hard.

Received a letter for the part time courses that I applied for. They sent the official receipt to me, showing the courses that I had chosen. I nv thought that I would be so 在意 abt this application until when I saw the 1st choice course printed was wrong, I was feeling super sad. If it is wrong, I had to wait for 6 month more, b4 the next intake. Time 白白 pass away like that... Time is very very precious! Tomorrow, I will call them to enquire.
